Introduction to Marxism Discussion Groups
“Philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it.”
– Karl Marx
If you’re interested in left wing politics and want to know more about the fundamentals of Marxism and the politics of Socialist Alternative, this is the place to be.
The discussions are free and informal and bring together people from all over Australia to discuss Marx's understanding of capitalism, crisis, and revolutionary socialism.
We encourage attendees to purchase the book Introducing Marxism by Tom Bramble, its chapters are readings for the various discussion groups. You can buy the book here.
The sessions are held in person where it is possible, or otherwise online via zoom. If you fill out this form someone will be in touch with the relevant details.
