Managing an existing subscription

We migrated our Red Flag subscriptions to our new subscription system in January 2026. If you made updates to your subscription prior to this date and they have not been carried over to our new subscription platform, please contact us at subs@redflag.org.au with details.

Marxist Left Review subscriptions are no longer managed through the same portal as Red Flag subscriptions. We are currently migrating MLR subscriptions to a new platform. If you need to update or change your MLR subscription, reach out to us at subs@redflag.org.au.

We have two login portals that subscribers can access.

The account portal will allow you to manage your newsletter lists and see but not edit any active subscriptions your might have. This log in also allows paid subscribers to leave comments on articles.

The subscriber billing portal will allow you to see and edit your subscription details, including subscription type, addresses and restarting or cancelling a subscription.

Common issues

Click on the headers below to see more details about managing these issues.

Red Flag's emails are going to spam or promotions folders

We send emails from info@redflag.org.au and subs@redflag.org.au.

There are some small steps that you can take to indicate to your email filters that you are interested in our receiving our messages:

  • Adding our email addresses to your email contacts;
  • Moving emails that end up in spam or promotions folders back into your main inbox;
  • If it is an option available on your email client, starring or marking our emails as priority messages.

Updating your name or email address

You can update your name for print edition deliveries by adding it to your shipping address details.

We currently don't have a self-serve option to update your email address or how your name appears in emails or in your account. If you'd like to update these details, please contact us at subs@redflag.org.au.

Not receiving print editions or missed a recent edition

If you have missed a recent print edition of Red Flag, we recommend logging into our subscriber portal to ensure that:

  • your subscription is currently active;
  • you are subscribed to one of our print subscriptions;
  • your address is correct and up-to-date (including unit number if applicable).

If you'd like us to resend a missed edition of Red Flag or are experiencing further issues, please contact us at subs@redflag.org.au.

Please note: New editions of Red Flag are published fortnightly. However, we have three standard publishing breaks each year where new editions are not released. We publish longer editions before and/or after these publishing breaks to compensate subscribers for this time. Our standard publishing breaks take place during the following times:

  • Mid-December to mid-January;
  • The fortnight that falls over the Easter weekend;
  • An additional fortnight in late-August or early September.

Not receiving digital editions

If you have missed a recent digital edition of Red Flag, we recommend:

  • Logging into our subscriber portal to ensure that your subscription is currently active;
  • Check your spam folders to see if any of our emails were caught in your spam filters.

If you'd like us to resend a missed digital edition of Red Flag, want to check which email address is associated with your subscription or are experiencing further issues, please contact us at subs@redflag.org.au.
