Italian workers and students have planted the flag. It’s now up to the rest of the world to emulate these efforts. Mass, militant class struggle is the way forward for Palestinian liberation, and the liberation of us all.
On 22 September, half a million workers, students and solidarity activists mobilised in more than 80 cities across Italy under the slogan “Blocchiamo Tutto” (Let’s block everything).
During Berlin’s Internationalist Queer Pride on Saturday, 26 July, more than 15,000 people marched through the streets of the German capital under the slogan “None of us are free until all of us are free”. Dozens of us were beaten and arrested and the march was forcefully dispersed.

The centre of Berlin was a sea of Palestinian flags and keffiyehs on Saturday 21 June. Banned slogans were held aloft and chanted loud. At least 50,000 turned out to show solidarity with Gaza.
